For the Geo Focus project built by De Haas, Kongsberg Maritime has delivered an EM 2040 Hydrographic Multi-beam Echo Sounder system, HiPAP 501 Acoustic Underwater Positioning & Navigation system and a EA 400 Hydrographic Single beam System.

The EM 2040 is the latest generation of multi-beam echo sounder systems in the market and includes all necessary features to provide fast and reliable mapping of the seafloor with the highest possible resolution. The EA 400 single beam echo sounder system includes the echo sounder and the survey software in one system and is basically used for precise hydrographic single beam surveying. The HiPAP 501 system is a hydroacoustic Super Short Base Line - SSBL or USBL, underwater positioning system, able to operate in shallow and deepwater areas to proven ranges to about 4,000 metres.
