NAVIGATION AND POSITIONING
Surface & Subsea gyrocompass with motion sensor IMO centrified OCTANS is a survey grade gyrocompass and complete motion sensor for depths to 6,000 m. Based on Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology, it outputs true heading, roll, pitch, surge, sway, heave, speed and acceleration.
Surface & Subsea Inertial Navigation System IMO certified PHINS, Photonic Inertial Navigation System outputs position, heading, roll, pitch, depth, velocity, and heave. Its high accuracy inertial measurement unit is based on IXSEA's FOG technology coupled with an embedded digital signal processor that runs an advanced Kalman filter.
Hydrographic survey / multibeam survey IMO certified HYDRINS, the hydrographic inertial navigation system, which interfaces notably with a multibeam sounder and GPS. It provides real-time, high-accuracy and high-frequency position, heading and attitude data even in case of GPS drop-out
Portable, calibration free USBL The calibration free Global Acoustic Positioning System (GAPS) combines USBL, INS and GPS technologies. The most accurate USBL in its category, it works in deep or extremely shallow water and difficult environments where other systems have failed.
Intelligent Embedded Positioning System RAMSES uses SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) to compute the unknown positions of transponders deployed on the seabed while keeping track of its own current location and to provide on-the-fly array calibration.

ECHOES Chirp sub-bottom profilers
IXSEA's range of ECHOES sub-bottom profilers are designed to meet the most demanding geophysical applications ranging from coastal works to full ocean depths, and provide better knowledge of the sediment acoustics and geology through increased penetration and superior resolution. The range comes with DELPH SEISMIC ACQUISITION software, which is CHIRP selectable, and provides 24 bit raw data, SEGY 32 bits floating point, multi-ping management, GPS and motion sensor interface and real-time waterfall.
High-performance synthetic aperture sonar system SHADOWS, the first high-performance commercially available sonar system with synthetic aperture processing, provides unparalleled image quality with no gap at nadir and boosts productivity.
Turnkey all-in-one solution ELICS is a turnkey, all-in-one and ready-to-use sonar system based on a high-performance, dual-frequency digital side scan sonar, a powerful logging software, 100 meter tow cable, a topside transceiver unit and a data acquisition PC. Its dual frequency offers both range and resolution, making a perfect solution for all search and recovery missions. For optimal results, it can be used in conjunction with DELPH SONAR, the real-time sonar imagery acquisition and interpretation tool.
Omnidirectional Gradiometer GRADIOMAGIS is a truly omnidirectional gradiometer designed to map unexploded ordnance or other metallic objects. Its real-time magnetic gradient computation allows for superior spatial resolution and sensitivity to detection features.
