This revolutionary device changed the way ocean currents are measured, and led the way for a full line of acoustic Doppler products addressing a wide array of global academic, commercial, and defence related applications.  With over 20,000 Doppler products delivered around the globe, Teledyne RDI’s products remain the defacto standard for precision current profiling.

Through growth and diversification, Teledyne RDI’s product lines now include:

• A full line of ADCPs for current profiling in environments ranging from the shallowest stream to the deepest ocean;
• Doppler Velocity Logs for precision underwater navigation onboard subsea, surface, and diver platforms;
• The Citadel line of CTD products for conductivity, temperature and depth measurements;
• And our latest addition, Contros sensors for carbon detection.

Teledyne RDI, a proud member of Teledyne Marine, currently employs over 200 multi-disciplined scientists, engineers, technicians, sales and support personnel. The company resides in an 80,000 square foot ISO certified facility located in Poway, CA, which includes state of the art engineering, laboratory, manufacturing and test areas.  Teledyne RDI is also supported by offices in La Gaude, France and Shanghai, China.
