L-3 ELAC Nautik, located in Kiel, Germany, has more than 80 years of experience in the development and production of hydroacoustic systems. The product portfolio includes survey systems, sonar systems and echo sounders as well as systems for underwater communication.

 

For hydrographic survey operations, L-3 ELAC Nautik develops and manufactures state of the art units and systems for precise mapping of the seafloor for customers in the field of hydrography, for the survey of harbours, rivers and lakes as well as for oceanography, marine geology and marine biology.

L-3 ELAC Nautik‘s multi-beam echo sounder systems with the trademark SeaBeam are in operation for scientific and commercial customers worldwide. A wide product range not only covers systems for all water depths, but allows the installation on icebreakers as well. A close co-operation with international hydrographic institutes and authorities results in permanent improvement of all survey systems.

 

All products are manufactured at the Kiel facility and are known for their reliability and advanced technology.
