Liquid Robotics Strategic Advisory Board Extended

Liquid Robotics, USA, has added three industry luminaries to their Strategic Advisory Board (SAB). The new members, Admiral Timothy J. Keating, General Walter ‘Skip’ Sharp and Dr Francisco Chavez, will be joining an existing advisory board comprised of eighteen industry experts across the Defense, Foreign Affairs, Communications/Technology, and Science industries.

The new advisors are:

  • Admiral Timothy J. Keating, United States Navy (Ret.), former Commander of the United States Pacific Command whose mission was to preserve the security and stability of the Asia-Pacific region with an area of responsibility for over 3.4 billion people and half the surface of the earth.
  • General Walter “Skip” Sharp, United States Army (Ret.), former Commander of the United Nations Command, Republic of Korea – United States Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea. As the Commander, General Sharp was responsible for the unified command structure for the multinational military forces supporting South Korea (the Republic of Korea or ROK).
  • Francisco Chavez, Senior Scientist and Biological Oceanographer, Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). As a world-renowned expert in biological oceanography and founding member of MBARI, Dr. Chavez has been honored for his research on the impact of climate variability on oceanic ecosystems and global carbon cycling.

With escalating regional tensions, illegal fishing, and impacts of climate change, Liquid Robotics is actively working across the Asia-Pacific region to help customers more effectively manage, understand, and protect their coastlines. Gary Gysin, President and CEO of Liquid Robotics, expresses that the trusts that  Adm. Keating, Gen. Sharp, and Dr. Chavez’s expertise and counsel will contribute to the success of Liquid Robotics.
