Unmanned Systems Industry Members Receive Prestigious Awards

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) announces its 2006 Awards Winners, recognized at AUVSI's Foundation Awards Luncheon during AUVSI's Unmanned Systems North America 2006 Symposium and Exhibition in Orlando (FL, USA) on 31 August 2006. The Al Aube Outstanding Contributor Award is presented to Dr. Scott Fish, SAIC, who promotes ideas, creates new concepts, directs programs or was involved in unmanned vehicle systems development and operation.
The Pioneer Award distinguished Helen Greiner, iRobot Corporation for the demonstration of advanced concepts and innovative ideas in the development of unmanned vehicle systems.
The Operations Award is presented to Col Edward Ward, Robotic Systems JPO who was directly involved in test and evaluation and/or operational employment of unmanned vehicle systems.
The Member of the Year Award is presented to Marvin Gay, Air Force Research Laboratory, who has made a significant contribution to the objectives of AUVSI through major efforts and/or outstanding performance.
