Nigerian Representative for EIVA
In December 2015, EIVA added OceanCosmos Nigeria Limited as the first EIVA representative in Nigeria. OceanCosmos Nigeria Limited will offer its customers both EIVA hardware and software solutions as a local point of contact that knows the drill of the Nigerian offshore construction and survey industry.
The OceanCosmos team have many years of experience in the offshore industry, including first-hand, offshore experience with EIVA NaviSuite. This makes the company a valuable partner for the established, extensive list of customers involved in hydrographic, geophysical, construction, engineering and other offshore-related survey activities, according to EIVA Sales Director Jakob Møller Nielsen.
One of the Largest Oil Exporters
The applications of the EIVA product portfolio include oil production activities. As Africa is one of the major oil exporters in the world, the company has seen an increasing interest from the African countries – especially Nigeria – throughout the last decade.
EIVA will be looking into the possibilities of further expanding activities in Africa to meet the growing demand.
