| A highly motivated and experienced individual is sought to act as Survey Manger. In line with our policy to work innovatively and to the highest technical standards, we are seeking candidates who have a desire to stretch their horizons. Whilst previous experience of leading survey teams is an advantage, we are keen to invite experienced candidates currently in field roles (Oceanographers, Marine Environmental and Geoscience Scientists, Party Chiefs) who wish to develop their careers further. |

You will be a key team player in a rapidly expanding company, and have the opportunity to express your visions of how to improve all aspects of the operations. Suitable candidates will progress rapidly as the structure of the company evolves to meet the growing demands.
Responsibilities will include: • Leading survey activities, from project mobilisation to data acquisition and final reporting. • Design, deployment and servicing of sub-surface and surface moorings and other field equipment. • Programming of oceanographic and a range of other monitoring equipment. • Field logistics and subcontractor management. • Ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to. • Data processing, evaluation, interpretation, and reporting. • Financial management of projects. • Client liaison. • Contribution to the preparation of technical proposals. In addition, you will be central to supporting the success of Partrac, including identifying new opportunities, company representation and the preparation of tender documents. You will be responsible for line management of key survey staff.
Minimum requirements: MSc in marine geology, oceanography, marine biology or a related subject. Five years of proven experience preferably from a regulatory or marine survey background. All candidates must be able to demonstrate their commitment to contributing to QHSE management. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
