Third SeaBat 7125 for TerraSond

  15/02/2007
TerraSond recently placed an order for a new Reson SeaBat 7125, 200/400kHz Dual Frequency system. This is TerraSond’s third Reson Multibeam System, adding to their SeaBat 8101-ER and SeaBat 8124.

SeaBat 7125Since 1994, TerraSond has provided surveying services, internationally, with an emphasis in terrestrial and seafloor mapping including marine charting surveys, design engineering support, dredge support, sub-aqueous route surveys and geophysical surveys. The new Reson SeaBat 7125 Dual-frequency Multibeam System expands TerraSond’s capabilities to include ultra-high resolution inspection and shallow water surveys with its 400kHz, 0.5 degree beams. In addition, to delivering highest resolution capabilities to 200m water depths with the 400kHz, the 200kHz operating frequency expands survey capabilities to 500m water depths. The SeaBat 7125 is the only dual-frequency mulitibeam system for shallow water hydrography available, offering maximum flexibility and efficiency. The system will be delivered in the spring of 2007.
