| The HYPACK 2008 Training Conference will be held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The 3-day training from 6 to 9 January 2008 will cover all the aspects of single beam and multibeam hydrographic surveying and dredge management using HYPACK, HYSWEEP and DREDGEPACK packages. | |||

Some of the new features in HYPACK 6.2B that will be demonstrated are Point Cloud editing tool, Sub-Bottom Profiling, Riegl scanning interface, MrSID and JPEG2000 background charts support. Additional features that will be presented are side-scan utilities for the conversion of HSX to XTF converter, GSF to HSX and HSX to GSF.
Exhibitors from software/hardware manufacturers, equipment resellers and service providers will be on hand in the exhibit hall or performing on-the-water demonstrations.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but a UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality.
