AHRs with Integrated GPS

  23/11/2007
The MTi-G is a MEMS IMU with integrated GPS. It contains an internal ultra low-power Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) processor running a real-time Xsens Kalman filter. Key benefit of the compact MTi-G sensor is that it provides accurate horizontal and vertical position, velocity and orientation estimates.

As the MTi-G accomplishes this task with a high update rate and fidelity, it is an excellent measurement unit for navigation and control of marine vehicles and other autonomous or unmanned objects. Also available from Xsens is a Development Kit enabling easy integration of the MTi-G in any system or (OEM) application. Next to the Marine industry, typical applications can be found in the aerospace, automotive and robotics as well as pedestrian navigation and Virtual Reality.
