Side Scan Sonar Operations and Maintenance Seminar

L-3 Klein Associates announce a Side Scan Sonar Operations and Maintenance Training Seminar from 29 April to 1 May 2008. The three day seminar will be conducted at L-3 Klein's Facility in Salem (NH, USA). The training will include 2 days of classroom instruction and 1 day of on the water training; lunch will be provided daily.
 

This seminar is geared to the operator, as well as to the manager, who wants a better understanding of Side Scan Sonar techniques. The course is open to any user of side scan sonar regardless of brand, experience, or occupation.

  • Basics of Underwater Acoustics
  • Interpretation of Side Scan Sonar

The instructor for the course will be Garry Kozak. For the past 27 years, Garry has been employed by L-3 Klein Associates as a sales engineer. He is a recognized expert in undersea search operations and travels the world providing consulting and training expertise to Navies and companies who have a critical underwater search need.
