| Applied Microsystems (AML) is pleased to announce that SV-Xchange is now available on Applied Microsystems' Micro SV sound velocity instrument. SV-Xchange was launched in early March, 2008 at Oceanology International in London. The sensor's field-swappability eliminates the need for entire instruments to be returned for recalibration. |

SV-Xchange was initially only available on Applied Microsystems' sound velocity profiler, the SV Plus v2. Since the product's launch, customer enthusiasm has been extremely high, with many requests for immediate availability on smaller instruments like the Micro SV. This now means that SV-Xchange sensors can be connected to both SV Plus v2 and Micro SV instruments, dramatically increasing the overall value of the SV-Xchange solution.
