AHS's First Agreement on Electronic NtMs09/05/2008 |
| ChartCo Ltd has secured an agreement with the Australian Hydrographic Service to broadcast Notices to Mariners and chart corrections to ChartCo's current subscriber base of over 3500 vessels. This is the first agreement that the Australian Hydrographic Service has signed allowing the electronic distribution of its Notice to Mariners data to ships. |
|
This new service will be based on the hugely popular BA, Japanese and US services, incorporating full corrections covering the Australian chart catalogue and publications. All subscribers to the ChartCo service receive and obtain updates for each of these data sets. The oceanMaster software provided as part of the service allows the user to maintain the ship outfit and intelligently prioritises the correction workload. Changes to the outfit will result in historical correction data becoming instantly available. Under this agreement the Australian correction service will be available via both ChartCo Broadcast and by the Internet based data collection service - ChartCo Select.
