Two Survey Vessels Ordered

Jan de Nul has ordered a second hydrographic survey vessel from No Limit Ships. By the end of 2007, a comparable vessel (christened DN75) has been delivered for fast mult-beam surveys near the islands group in Dubai. MMT AB also ordered a vessel. An existing No Limit will be converted to a hydrographic survey vessel.

The newly ordered vessel for Jan de Nul will be delivered half 2009 and it will be equipped to be able to work in tropical circumstances. Also, the vessel will be accommodating two staff. It will be the fourth vessel built according to Lloyd's Register class.

The No Limit 1640 for MMT will be mapping the sea floor around the English coast. The higher survey speed, seaworthiness, limited staffing requirements give her an economical advantage.
