ODIM Sets for Growth in Asia07/07/2008 |
| ODIM has strengthened its management by appointing Birger Myklebust (50) as vice president Asia with responsibility for this important growth region. He starts work on 15 July. Mr Myklebust has played a key role in building up Asian operations at the Ulstein group and Rolls-Royce. Currently resident in the Chinese city of Shanghai, he will be moving to Singapore later. |

The appointment of Mr Myklebust comes just a year after COO Kjetil Leine joined ODIM with many years of experience from the maritime sector in Asia and the Middle East. Both men have broad and deep international experience, and almost 40 years of Asian experience between them.
