XRX Series Multi-Parameter Data Logger

  18/07/2008
RBR is pleased to announce the introduction of the XRX Series of multi-parameter data loggers. Ten sensor channels can now be handled by a single instrument, including CTD, Turbidity, Fluorescence, pH, DO, ORP and other physical and biological parameters. The unit supports RS232 and RS485 data communications and external power, in addition to the standard internal autonomous mode. The XRX is an extension of the existing RBR the sensor and logger range and the depth rating is down to 740m, depending on the sensors fitted.

This RBR Data Logger is field upgradeable and delivers a flexible and upgradeable instrument with functionality that can be extended as budget becomes available or requirements evolve.

Applications include oceanography, limnology and polar research - all arenas where accurate measurements are required in difficult conditions (deep ocean, coastal waters, lakes, rivers, permafrost and ice). RBR provides complete systems for the collection and transmission of such data in real-time directly to the user's office or the internet.

RBR designs and manufactures Data Loggers that are highly accurate, submersible down
to 10,500m and include a wide range of sensors for CTD and water quality. RBR also offers instrumentation for laboratory or field sites, including Tide and Wave Recorders for Ports, Harbours and other installations, a portable Ship-Board Salinometer, Capacitance Wave Gauges for laboratories and the ocean, as well as Data Collection Platforms such as Data-buoys.
