DeepLive 2.0's user interface makes it simple to operate in the field, using drag and drop technology to build up world models quickly and easily. With automatic data collection, display and saving, it allows multiple simultaneous views of the subsea world to be replayed at any point for live monitoring, peer review by engineers or showing to clients. DeepLive 2.0 reduces pilot stress and increases client confidence by providing a clear view of all subsea assets in real-time.
Sven Storesund, superintendent ROV/Survey at DeepOcean said, "We often have a lot of equipment in the water at the same time, two or three ROVs, subsea modules going down through the moonpool and crane wires, stuff like that! We purchased GRL's DeepLive software so as to give our operators and engineers a better idea of what exactly is happening subsea, so they can see the whole picture. The aim is to improve amongst other things the efficiency and safety of our subsea operations."
GRL is bringing to market its DeepWorks engineering software platform that will provide clients with the ability to simulate, visualise and monitor all stages of a project. DeepLive is the part of DeepWorks that provides live monitoring of subsea engineering operations.
