GNSS Antenna Patent30/09/2008 |
| Hemisphere GPS was awarded a patent for the Broadband Aperture Coupled GNSS Microstrip Patch Antenna (U.S. Patent 7,429,952). "What makes this antenna design unique is its use of dielectric layers," states Dr. Michael Whitehead, Chief Scientist for Hemisphere GPS. By using dielectric layers, Hemisphere are able to reduce interference from external sources, such as radio frequency (RF) signals and improve multipath mitigation. |

Hemisphere GPS customers are already enjoying the benefits of this innovation. This technology is currently employed in the A20 and A30 antennas as well as in the A100 Smart Antenna. These antennas all boast superior accuracy, sensitivity, and broadband reception. They all feature a single printed circuit board which makes for easy assembly, and results in a compact, robust, and affordable antenna for customers. Hemisphere GPS antenna technology is the ideal positioning choice for agricultural, marine, and GIS mapping applications.
