| At a gala awards presentation on 24th October 2008, Hemisphere GPS was announced winner of the Alberta Science and Technology (ASTech) Leadership Foundation Award for its outstanding commercial achievement in science and technology in the businesses over USD25 million category. The ASTech Awards are among the highest honors available to individuals and organisations whose outstanding work has had an impact on science, technology, business, medicine, the environment and the lives of people in Alberta and worldwide. |

Earlier this month, Hemisphere GPS was also recognised by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters and the National Research Council of Canada for its innovative Crescent GPS Technology. On 16th October 2008, Hemisphere GPS was announced winner of the 2008 Innovation Award for New Technology for Western Canada.
The 2008 Innovation Award recognises innovative excellence in the development, adoption and application of new technology in processes or products by Canadian manufacturers and exporters. Hemisphere GPS' Crescent technology is a leading L1 GPS technology known for its superior accuracy and robustness with exclusive patented techniques.
