Zenon Markowski, representative for Escort, Ltd, said of the recent partnership with IVS 3D, "We expect that our cooperation with IVS 3D will expedite the development of hydrographic mapping in Poland. Currently, there is an increasing number of Polish institutions that are responsible for the preparation and actualisation of bathymetric maps for both for the Polish zone of the Baltic Sea as well as the inland waters. As a result, they are using modern hydrographic multibeam echo sounders. With the tools available in the Fledermaus suite, these institutions are able to integrate the Fledermaus software suite across many phases of a project from the planning, processing and QC, through to analysis and production of images, plots and animations. Because of the ease with which massive amounts of data are handled with Fledermaus, they are able to realize the full utilization that these sonar devices have to offer."
"Escort's experience with hydrographic sonar equipment is a natural transition to the capabilities of the Fledermaus suite to handle the massive amounts of data that the marine equipment generates." said Bill McKernan, VP of Sales and Marketing for IVS 3D. "We have complete confidence with Escort Ltd to be able to help Fledermaus users realize the full potential of Fledermaus' 3D interactive tools."
