| Hemisphere GPS has captured a strong start to the new year, recently being recognized as one of Alberta's fastest growing companies. The Fast Growth 50 list was just released in the January edition of Alberta Venture magazine, ranking Hemisphere GPS as 11th in a category of 25 companies with earnings over CAD20 million. |

Members of the list, dubbed "Growth Champions" by the magazine, are comprised of companies presenting a catalogue of best business practices. Competitors were ranked by growth in revenues, assets, profits, head count and other criteria over the past three years, in two categories - over CAD20 million and under CAD20 million.
In addition to this latest award Hemisphere GPS was the recipient of several awards in 2008 including: the ASTech Leadership Foundation Award; the 2008 Innovation Award for New Technology for Western Canada; and the Deloitte Technology Green 15 Award.
Alberta Venture will host a gala award celebration on 12th February 2009 in Calgary to officially celebrate the success of the Fast Growth 50 winners.
