New Cross-Platform Software02/04/2009 |
| RBR is introducing a new cross-platform multi-instrument software application, Ruskin, that is the successor to the "RBR Windows" software. Ruskin has been written to enable multiple instrument and dataset support, cross platform operation on PCs, Macs, and Linux computers, and remote network access to instruments. |
|
It lays the foundation for planned enhancements, such as increased data export options, application specific modes for harbour masters and lab technicians, and more detailed analysis tools. Both Ruskin and our legacy software will be available during a transition period, and RBR will fully support customers using the Windows software until they update.
