| The 4th EIHC is currently underway in Monaco. Proceedings were formally opened on Tuesday 2nd June by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, who then toured the exhibition stands. Attending the event are fifty member states; Ireland and Qatar have been presented as new members. | |

The conference is considering reports and proposals, for example on the S100 implementation and discussing topics like ENC developments. The conference will be followed by the first meeting of the Inter Regional Coordination Committee on 5th June and will give floor to the celebration of World Hydrograpy Day.
Caris Celebration Festivities were taking place on Tuesday evening on the Caris booth, where the company celebrated its 30th year in business. A cake was cut in the early evening to open the party, witnessed by guests who later enjoyed the atmosphere.
