Range of Flashing Beacons

  25/06/2009
Surrey-based Planet Ocean has launched a range of surface and sub-surface mooring beacons to be known as "MICRO BEACONS". First off the line is a high-intensity LED flashing beacon.

The XMBF-200 is an independently powered, self contained surface flasher that is fully submersible to 200m. This state of the art flasher is part of the micro beacon line of products and contains the latest technology available.  The super-bright LED provides unparalleled visibility in even the worst conditions.

The XMBF-200 is significantly smaller and lighter then other flashers meaning easier storage and deployment without any sacrifice in performance or operational visibility. User-selectable flash patterns and repetition rates together with a choice of activation methods make this a very useable device for a variety of marking applications, search and rescue, ROV's AUV's etc. A 5000m version with surface switching technology will follow in July 2009.
