Imtech Marine Group (IMG) companies Imtech Marine Shanghai, Radio Holland China, Imtech Marine & Offshore and Imtech Marine Germany will attend the forthcoming Marintec exhibition being held on 1–4 December in Shanghai. New technology such as Seaguide, the innovative bridge system, will be demonstrated.

Imtech Seaguide is officially being launched at the Marinetec as part of the deep-sea bridge console, which will also incorporates systems from other partners in the field of navigation and communication. With the Imtech Seaguide, vessel crews will have a complete understanding of system operation. The main features of the new Imtech Seaguide include: rugged PC, easy operation and maintenance for crews, radar, ARPA/AIS with target association and navigation data management.

 

IMG will also demonstrate its expertise in energy and drive technology, navigation and communication equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and airco) and diesel electric propulsion. Special attention will also be paid to the global service capabilities and connectivity solutions.

 

IMG intends to target the Chinese market in the coming years, since the Chinese shipbuilding market is set to become the world's biggest shipbuilding market by 2015. The Imtech Marine Group companies located in China (Imtech Marine Shanghai and Radio Holland China) have combined their expertise and are working closely together to offer customers a full and extended scope of systems and services.

 

Imtech Marine Shanghai is located on the south side of Shanghai (Nanhui Industrial Zone) and produces LV switchboards and bridge consoles. Combined with services such as commissioning, navigation, communication and electrical power, Imtech Marine Shanghai is a key player on the Chinese marine market. Over 800 shipsets (cargo vessels) have been sold to Chinese shipyards during the last 25 years, mainly for German ship owners.

 

Set in the heart of the Pudong District, Shanghai, Radio Holland China/Hong Kong offer new build console, retrofit and worldwide service solutions to meet the current and future customer demands. Each item of new build equipment will be entered into Radio Holland's Global Service Database so that the client can be safe in the knowledge that their repair service will be handled with optimum efficiency. Radio Holland China has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dalian, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Qing Dao.
