UTC Fire & Security Becomes Imarest Marine Partner

  04/01/2010
UTC Fire & Security is the latest company to become a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology's (IMarEST) Marine Partner initiative. The Marine Partner initiative is a global scheme that provides tailor-made benefits for organisations of all sizes to work more closely with the Institute and enables Institute members to easily access information on leading products, services and solutions.

"Our marine fire and safety products offer a complete, one-stop solution for an entire ship whether it is a cruise liner, LNG carrier or naval vessel," explains Brian Rodricks, Marine Business Development Director of UTC Fire & Security.

"Individually, our products are technology leaders - from the Marioff HI-FOG® high pressure water-mist system which is fitted on nearly every modern cruise liner, to Kidde's fire extinguishing systems, Autronica's fire and gas detection systems, Onity's electronic locks and energy management systems, just to name a few brand leaders.
