MVP300 for Navoceano

  25/02/2010
The United States Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) has submitted an order for an ODIM MVP300 system. This is the second of the ODIM MVP 300 units that NAVOCEANO has acquired. The systems are being installed on the T-AGS 60 class multi-mission oceanographic vessels capable of effectively performing operations satisfying a broad spectrum of oceanographic requirements.

The multi-sensor, multi-purpose system configuration will consist of an ODIM MVPTM300 with an AML micro CTD and SVP&T installed on a Dual Sensor Free Fall Fish. The system will assist NAVOCEANO in the acquisition of on-the-fly real-time water column information for various purposes including calibration of multibeam sonar.

Valued by maritime interests worldwide, NAVOCEANO acquires and analyzes global ocean and littoral data to provide specialized, operationally significant products and services for defense and civilian, national and international customers.
