| The Q-LED underwater floodlight is powered by AC voltage. That means that the traditional halogen lights on your vehicle or other application can be "plug and play" replaced with Q-LEDs. It has an identical form factor and matching mounting pattern to the QL-3000 light, the ROS industry standard that has illuminated the depths of the ocean for over three decades. The ultra-efficient Q-LED's light output exceeds that of a 250 watt halogen light, yet it draws less than half that amount of power. |
![]() Regardless of duty cycle, the first recommended maintenance for the hassle-free Q-LED is at the 5-year mark, when it is recommended that its two O-rings be replaced. After that, the light can go right back underwater.

Hydrographic Survey of Riverbed Erosion |
Members of the US Geological Survey were filmed while out on the Missouri River at Williston, North Dakota, USA, performing a hydrographic survey to monitor the state of riverbed erosion. They were using a multibeam echo sounder which transmits sound energy and analyses the return signal (echo) that has bounced off the riverbed or other objects. Multibeam sonars emit sound waves from directly beneath a ship's hull to produce fan-shaped coverage of the riverbed.
