New Faces and HQ for Planet Ocean

Surrey-based Planet Ocean Ltd has moved to a new larger facility, and welcomes a new member to the team. Joining as commercial manager is Graham Sloane. Graham graduated from Winchester University with an honours degree before joining Microsoft Atlas as an account executive where his clients included companies as O2, Vodafone and Volvo. Prior to moving across to Planet Ocean, Graham was with brand experience specialists Blue Dog Productions, once more with a portfolio of clients including B.A.A, CISCO, TOYOTA and Trend Micro.


New HQ Planet OceanCommenting on the appointment, Planet Ocean managing director Terry Sloane said " Of course I am delighted and very proud to be welcoming Graham to the family firm, his organisational, marketing skills and experience in dealing with blue chip clients are just what is required at this important stage in our growth".


Along with the increase in personnel, Planet Ocean has moved into a new office workshop & laboratory facility, close to their former site in Camberley. The new HQ, provides increased workshop space and access to allow working on the larger data buoy projects as well as accommodating the new staff.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but an UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality.
