YSI Castaway Demonstrations28/07/2010 |
| OSIL, UK, are offering demonstrations of the YSI CastAway, a profiler that gives oceanographers, hydrologists, and surveyors the ability to instantaneously view profiles of temperature, salinity, and sound speed from any dock, bridge, or boat. With three taps of a magnetic stylus pen, simply drop the CastAway CTD in the water, pull it up, and have conductivity, temperature, depth and sound velocity measured in minutes. An embedded LCD screen provides easy access for setup, deployment, and immediate data review. |
