Sound Ocean Systems has released the ECO Sheave, an economical, high-quality over boarding sheave specifically designed for use with 1/8 inch electro-mechanical cable or wire rope (0.125 in. [3.2mm] nominal diameter).

Over Boarding Sheave

The ECO sheave is constructed of stainless steel (316L) and has an 8-inch Delrin® sheave with permanently oiled bronze bearing. It's an ideal accessory for SOSI's popular ECO Winch product line and has a working load limit of 500 lbs. (227 kg), suitable for small to medium-sized oceanographic or environmental sampling instruments.
