Two Metocean Statoil Awards to Fugro Geos01/02/2011 |
| Fugro GEOS has secured two large metocean (meteorological and oceanographic) measurement studies for Statoil in the Norwegian and North Seas. Richard Gaches, Fugro GEOS project manager, explains that the contracts highlight the importance of accurate metocean data at the design stage of development of offshore fields, and for life extension of existing fields. |

It's not an AUV but an UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater.
