Under the contract, Veripos is to initially provide ten Siem Offshore vessels operating variously in European, Brazilian, Asian and African waters with its dual-beam Standard service. The service will also be provided aboard another new-build vessel due for commissioning shortly, Siem Amethyst. Siem Offshore also retain the option to further extend the service to its other fleet vessels as and when necessary.
Separately, Veripos has also been awarded a two-year services contract extension by Simon Møkster Shipping for provision of its Standard positioning service to two of the Stavanger-based company’s offshore support vessels. Both vessels are already equipped with dual Veripos LD2 integrated mobile receivers for deriving position solutions used for their DP systems.
