Record Attendance at 'International' OB07/04/2011 |
| Of course we have yet to hear the final number of visitors to Ocean Business 2011, but there is an interim score. After two days, organisers Intelligent Exhibitions had welcomed 2,882 people from sixty countries through the doors. This means that the number of visitors to the 2009 edition had already been reached. As Mr Richard Burt, chairman of AMSI Council, commented, 'There is definitely no doubt this is an international show.' |

At the moment of writing, the OB imit of 3,000 visitors already has been exceeded. Ocean Business 2011 houses 280 international companies from nineteen countries. A biennal event, Ocean Business is unique of its kind, incorporating an international exhibition with in-classroom and on-water training and demonstration sessions, and with an offshore survey conference held alongside. Ocean Business is renowned for its social events, which gives the event just that bit of a winning edge over other shows. We are already looking forward to the next edition of Ocean Business, to be held in 2013.
