Strategic Appointment at Ashtead Technology

Ashtead Technology has appointed Chris Braithwaite as non-executive chairman of the Group. Chris has over 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Services sector, and was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Wellstream Holdings plc having overseen its IPO from private equity ownership in 2007. An engineer, Chris has also worked with ABB, Halliburton/Brown & Root and Transfield.

 

Chris BraithwaiteAshtead Technology's chief executive, Graham Philip, comments: "The Board is excited to appoint Chris to help accelerate the delivery of our ambitious growth plans. He has a strong record of delivering excellence in subsea engineering services businesses, and his experience of profitable international expansion will be of great benefit to the management team."
