CARIS Software and Training

  06/07/2011
Royal Navy of Oman and CARIS sign a five-year agreement covering CARIS training and subscription. After experiencing the advantages of CARIS software and subscription services for years, the Royal Navy of Oman understands the benefits of being up-to-date with the latest software versions as well the importance of training staff members to the latest technology.

Besides 5 year software subscription (software support & updates) this contract also includes the provision of several weeks of CARIS training on various topics.

CARIS provided training on Nautical Charting earlier this year while the most recent training provided was CARIS HIPS-SIPS for the Royal Navy's hydrographic staff in their office in Wudam. Further training to be scheduled.
