BioSonics Workshop at Fisheries Society

  15/07/2011
The 2011 National American Fisheries Society meeting will be held in Seattle from 4th to 8th September 2011, and is expected to attract thousands of fisheries professionals from across North America and worldwide. To encourage visitors to extend their visit and make the most out of their trip to Seattle, BioSonics will host a three-day hydroacoustic workshop Monday 12th to Wednesday 15th September 2011.

The workshop includes a full day lecture on hydroacoustic theory presented by several top scientists in this field. The course also includes hands-on training in data collection and post processing methods. Workshop details can be found online. Space is limited and expected to fill up quickly. Student discounts are available. Call or email today to reserve your space.

In addition to the training workshop, throughout the week of the AFS meeting BioSonics will host DT-X echosounder demonstrations, Elliott Bay Harbor tours, social hours, and tours of the BioSonics facility in Seattle's own Fremont district, the self-proclaimed "Center of the Universe."
