Success for UUV 3500 Side Scan Sonar

  30/08/2011
The recently introduced L-3 Klein UUV 3500 Side Scan Sonar for the AUV, UUV and ROV market has enjoyed a strong welcome. To date, L-3 Klein has been integrated into a number of AUVs and UUVs, and Klein's first production run is now sold out. Material is on order and due to arrive shortly, enabling the next production run to start soon.

The integration of the Klein UUV 3500 into any underwater vehicle is quick and simplistic as it was designed for this sole purpose with design input from both the AUV and UUV manufacturers and end users. Their requests were straightforward: stellar imaging, reliability, small, low power consumption, low cost and bathymetry data would be nice. Klein has fulfilled these requests.
