Bluefin Demos in Hudson River

Bluefin Robotics is to offer in-water demonstration of the Bluefin-21 AUV at the Reson User Conference to be held from 31st October to 3rd November 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City hotel on the Hudson River (New Jersey, USA). The Bluefin-21 is a navigation accuracy, survey-class AUV equipped with a side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler and Reson SeaBat 7125 Multibeam Echosounder.
 

 

R/V ResolutionBluefin staff will walk participants through basic vehicle operations such as launch and recovery, survey planning, vehicle monitoring, and data analysis. Demonstrations will take place from the company's own 54-foot workboat, R/V Resolution. Reservations can be made online following then link below, or after 26th October 2011 on-site at Bluefin's booth.
