THS UK Launches CPD Record Sheet17/10/2011 |
| The Hydrographic Society UK enables members to record their participation in its evening meetings, seminars and workshops as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The scheme is supported by all major accreditation bodies with a marine interest including ICES, IMarEST, IMCA and the RICS. |
|
Completion of the form will enable members working towards, or already having chartered status, to provide supporting evidence of attendance at events such as the Society's Regional evening meetings, so contributing to their ongoing professional development.
Candidates are advised to download and complete a CPD Record Sheet from the Society's website before attending an event and then present it to the Chairman, or an appropriate Society officer, at the end of the session.
The new Record Sheet, which can be downloaded from the Society's website, will also be available for completion at most meetings.
It is anticipated that this scheme will be a welcome addition to the Society's services and offer members a practical method of support for progressing their formal record of Continuing Professional Development.
