African 3D Seismic Contract Confirmed

  24/11/2011
Dolphin Geophysical has signed one out of three potential 3D contracts in north-west Africa, as previously disclosed as upcoming work for Polar Duke. If all contracts materialise in line with management expectations, the vessel will be occupied in Africa from December 2011 until April 2012.

Polar DukeFollowing a successful long season with high seismic demand in the Norwegian Barents Sea, Polar Duke ceased contract operations in early November, then performed various guarantee and yard work in Aberdeen (Scotland). Awaiting permitting in West Africa, the vessel is carrying out seismic acquisition and equipment testing in the vicinity of the UK Blakeney area before departure, which is estimated to be the end of this week.
