BlueView to be Integrated with Outland ROVs

  13/01/2012
BlueView Technologies and Outland Technology, USA, have signed a Systems Integrator Agreement that enables Outland to re-sell BlueView 2D and 3D products on Outland Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

Outland ROV

Outland has a long history of designing and manufacturing a broad range of high-quality underwater video and audio products using high-volume components adapted for specific applications. BlueView's compact, real-time multibeam imaging sonar systems will expand Outland's ROV capabilities by enhancing low and zero visibility operations.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but an UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality. For more information on the technical side, please see the news release on Hydro International.
