Zupt Last-minute Addition to OI

  08/03/2012
Not wanting to miss out on Oceanology International in London's ExCel Centre from 13 to 15 March 2012 after all, Zupt, USA, has recently confirmed it will be exhibiting its latest technology relating to inertial metrology and ROV communications at stand no. K15.

20120308 zuptZupt’s C-PINS can save marine construction survey project time and money. The technology has delivered more than 26 inertial metrologies and has completed sparse LBL and USBL smoothing operations in West Africa, the North Sea, the Bahamas and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

The Micro-TTU can solve ROV serial communication issues. Micro-TTU adds six channels to any existing RS232 channel on ROVs.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but a UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality. For more information on the technical side, please see the news release on Hydro International.
