  21/03/2012
Oceanology International took place from 13 to 15 March 2012 in the ExCeL centre, London, UK. This year's show attracted a total of 7,728 visitors from over 70 countries, compared with 6,971 visitors in 2010.

Running in parallel with Oceanology International was the Interspill trade show. This event attracted 1,346 delegates, bringing the combined total for the two shows to 9,074.

The vessels proved popular too. A total of 380 attendees made use of the opportunity to tour the French survey vessel FS Borda, and 789 people went aboard the smaller boats for demonstrations of the equipment over the three days.

Ralph, it looks like the first time nothing is happening, but when clicking a third time, you get the next image. The below section moves with the images. If you select the 9th image of the block, then push 'next' you move to 10. Joost Boers - 23/03/2012 - 14:23

Selecting the \"next\" button adjacent to the pictires does not appear to work, it merely resets the main page and pic #1 Ralph Gall - 22/03/2012 - 21:25

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but an UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality. For more information on the technical side, please see the news release on Hydro International.
