DeepOcean Group Aligns All Divisions Under One Brand07/05/2012 |
| CTC Marine Projects, Trico Offshore and Deep Ocean AS, all subsidiaries of the Norway-based DeepOcean Group Holding, are rebranding under the new name of DeepOcean. DeepOcean Group's CEO Bart Heijermans says this reflects the company's aim to operate as one company, offering customers an integrated suite of subsea services. |
He expresses that there are few companies in the offshore industry that perform survey, ROV, trenching and marine operations to the extent that DeepOcean does, or which have the project management and engineering capabilities to plan and support the offshore operations.
As the company launches its new brand, it will also look to build upon its current number of employees across the group including both onshore and offshore positions.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV
It's not an AUV but a UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality. For more information on the technical side, please see the news release on Hydro International.
