| CARIS, Canada, has launched a self-paced online training course. The S-57 Composer online training course is an introductory course that teaches workflow and functionality in the CARIS S-57 Composer software for the production of S-57 Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs). |

The online training format provides the best of a classroom training setting with the convenience of learning at a self-chosen pace from the desktop. Users will have 24-hour access to the course from anywhere they have an internet connection. As a supplement to the CARIS classroom training, the online training course offers a timely and convenient learning solution.
The S-57 Composer online training course is approximately 24 hours in duration and includes easy-to-follow instructions, informative videos, practical step-by-step exercises, and short quizzes to review what the participants have learned.
