ISO Certification for SeaZone

  10/05/2012
SeaZone, UK, has recently been part of an audit by BSI Management Systems (UK). The Quality Management System (QMS) adhered to by SeaZone has been certified as compliant with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2008. SeaZone processes are also certified as being compliant with the environmental management international standard ISO 14001:2004.

For nearly ten years SeaZone, has been providing marine data to government,  industry and academia.  During that time, quality and the environment has always been at the forefront of SeaZone thinking when designing the systems and processes that support the development and delivery of their products. ISO registration formally demonstrates the commitment of SeaZone to continual improvement and efficient operation and reassures our customers that quality and environmental standards are maintained and monitored.

The company recognises that customers operate within formal quality and environmental management frameworks and that the certification can help them to achieve their environmental and quality objectives too.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but an UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality. For more information on the technical side, please see the news release on Hydro International.
