This movie shows the ancient river bed of Kao Pin river in Taiwan. It has been surveyed using Kongsberg EM710 multi-beam echosounder, Applanix PosMV and SIS on 30 August 2007 by Dragon and Elephant Enterprises as a demonstration. The location is south-east offshore from Kaoshiung harbour in Taiwan.

It's not an AUV but a UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality.
