An Axys 3m meteorological buoy not only serves its goal to collect weather data. Sea lions have discovered the buoy on the La Perouse Bank at the west coast of Canada as a hang-out. 'The are reluctant to leave their new resting spot', comments Jeremy Hancyk.

He says that we think we are good.Good for what? If the animals are harmful to the buoy and I am sure they will be in time they should put up a wire fence around the perimeter. Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV
It's not an AUV but a UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality.
